Zero2Hero Organisation….and why I am fundraising for them ?

So, in Feb 2023 I am walking the Cape2Cape trek to raise money for Zero2Hero , a WA based non-for profit organisation supporting mental health awareness in our youth.

All funds raised for the cape2cape trek goes towards supporting zero2hero’s mental health schools programs and leadership camps that empower young people to be mental health heroes in their communities.

Our daughter went on this camp in Sept 2022 and found the experience ‘amazing’. To empower our youth with skills to be comfortable to talk to their peers and know where and when to get themselves or their friends help, is such a valuable life skill, and one I didn’t realise how much they needed. For these young leaders to then become advocates for school programs and leadership roles is a powerful spin off.
